11:00 AM
For a winter event the club will be going to the Altoona Railroaders Museum in Altoona. 1200 9th Avenue, Altoona, PA.
President Dan has made arrangements for an all-inclusive tour of the Museum. Our group will see parts of the museum not typically shown to the general public. The museum has also reduced the price of admission for our group to only $10.00.
Founded in 1980, the Railroaders Memorial Museum was established by Altoona leaders who sought to preserve the accomplishments and legacy of railroaders who founded the city in 1846 and the industry that turned Altoona into a renowned railroad city with over 3 miles of shops, foundries, yards, and Test Plant.
After the visit we will be stopping for a late lunch.
Please contact Nancy Imler if you will be attending this event. NJImler39@aol.com or 814-931-2312
