At the Pittsburgh International Race Complex

We have set September 22nd at 2pm as the Fun Run date to Pittsburgh International Race Complex for a competitive go-kart race on the Pitt Race Karting Track. There, we will compete to see who the fastest participant is.

A brief classroom session will start things off by introducing the participants to the kart followed by a practice run, qualifying and then….the race. They will give medal awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. On top of the 1st place medal, I will personally be awarding the winner with $100.00. If, I would happen to win I will donate the $100 to Wally Warmth.

A few more details about this Fun Run….. The cost to race is $100.00 per driver. The total number of drivers they can accommodate is 15 participants. A pavilion is provided for spectators to watch. Water will be provided. We need to be there 45 minutes before to get us ready. Pittsburgh International Race Complex track is one of the top tracks in the nation.

Payment is due by the club meeting on September 19, 2024.

This is going to be a fun experience for all and may go down in the books.

We will meet at the Cracker Barell restaurant in Altoona and leave promptly at 10:00 am.
